GE Asset Management has appointed Dmitri Stockton as president and CEO. Stockton is succeeding Jay Ireland, who will become president and CEO for GE Africa, a newly formed role.

Stockton, who will assume his new role on May 1, has previously served for GEAM parent General Electric in several capacities. Most recently, he was a president and CEO of GE Capital’s global banking division.
