Dutch insurance group, Syntrus Achmea, has appointed Anton Nunen as director of strategic pension management, Global Pensions reports. He will be responsible for fiduciary management of pension funds, such as the design of investment portfolios. Nunen will replace Rob Heerkens, who was a director at the firm. Nunen will continue in his consultancy business for clients in Italy and the U.K. for two days a week and the remaining time will be dedicated to the insurance group.
