Shell Gets Nod To Buy Brazil Fuel Biz

Dutch oil company, Royal Dutch Shell, has won Brazil’s antitrust regulator approval.

Dutch oil company, Royal Dutch Shell, has won Brazil’s antitrust regulator approval, Bloomberg reports. The Hague-based company is seeking to acquire an airline- fuel business from Cosan Industria & Comercio.

As per the approval, Shell will be required to sell physical assets of Jacta Participacoes before full approval is granted. Shell acquired Jacta Participacoes from Barra Bonita-based Cosan in 2009.
