Financial information data provider, Markit, has acquired Canadian risk analytics firm, QuIC Financial Technologies, Mondovisione reports. Upon completion of the deal, the Vancouver-based firm will become part of Markit’s valuations and analytics services unit. The agreement will enable Markit to meet the demand for risk analytics and enterprise risk management services. The financial details of the transaction have not been disclosed.
