Poland To Sell Yen, Swiss Franc Notes

Poland is seeking to raise money from the sale of yen and Swiss franc notes.

Poland is seeking to raise money from the sale of yen and Swiss franc notes, Bloomberg reports. The country may sell the foreign currencies denominated bonds in the first half of 2011. The nation will seek at least one foreign-currency bond sale in the first quarter as it predicts a difficult year for international issuance because of the European fiscal crisis. Poland raised €1 billion on January 13 from a sale of 4% debt due March 2021, its first Eurobond offering of 2011.
