The study found that 52% of those polled had concerns about retirement security, with nearly 33% of all Americans saying they saved nothing last year, while 25% in the 50-65 age group admitted to the same. In other findings, the poll revealed that more than half of Americans under the age of 50 say Social Security will be a “minor” source of income, compared with 60% of those 65 and older. According to the survey, 65% in the 18-34 group saying they expect to rely on 401(k) and individual retirement plans.
