Haidar Hit With Record Monthly Loss

The macro hedge fund was down more than 44 percent in the first quarter.

The Haidar Jupiter fund lost a staggering 32.33 percent in March, swelling its loss for the quarter to 44.09 percent.

This was by far the macro fund’s largest monthly loss since it was launched in 1999 by Said Haidar. In fact, Haidar has now lost money for six straight months, including losses of 13 percent in January and more than 19 percent last November.
