With competition in the market for illiquid hedge fund assets heating up lately, Chicago-based Origami Capital Partners is borrowing an idea from such competitions as the Ira Sohn Investment Idea conference and Bill Ackman’s Pershing Square Challenge. The firm is organizing a competition to fish for new investment strategies.
