Full-service investment bank KBW Inc. has expanded its investment banking division with the appointment of John Spence and Henry Fan as managing directors. The duo will report to Zac Rosenberg, head of investment banking, Asia.
Spence will be in charge of deals in the insurance and asset management sectors across Asia-Pacific, whereas Fan will look after the Chinese financial sector. Previously, Spence was director of Asian strategy at funds-of-private-equity funds manager Macquarie Funds Group. Prior to his recruitment by KBW, Fan was managing director in the China investment banking team at full service investment banking firm Roth Capital Partners in the U.S.
