RBC Capital Markets has named Brian Varga as head of the firm’s U.S. government bond trading desk, The Wall Street Journal reports. He replaces Tom Tucci, a two-decade veteran of the bond industry, who retired in July.
Prior to this, Varga was an executive director in the interest rates group at Morgan Stanley. He will report to Peter Hirsch, head of U.S. dollar rates and mortgage trading.
