Ching Foundation Gives $5M To PBS Hawaii

PBS Hawaii has secured $5 million from the Clarence T.C. Ching Foundation to set up new studios in Honolulu.

PBS Hawaii has secured $5 million from the Clarence T.C. Ching Foundation to set up new studios in Honolulu Hawaii Star reports. The new establishment will be named The Clarence T.C. Ching Campus. The educational nonprofit organization will renovate and expand the site to relocate operations in 2014. The station has received $17 million to build a community gathering place and forum for civil discourse.
