Alcoa has raised $1.25 billion in a sale of senior unsecured notes.

Alcoa has raised $1.25 billion in a sale of senior unsecured notes, Reuters reports. The aluminum producer raised the size of the transaction from an initially planned $750 million. The company appointed Citi, JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley, Credit Suisse and Royal Bank of Scotland as the joint bookrunning managers. The notes carry a coupon rate of 5.40% and are due to mature on April 15, 2021.
