Polar Capital is rolling out an emerging markets income fund for the emerging market equity team, Citywire reports. The team was appointed from Axa Framlington to manage the fund in October 2010.
William Calvert is heading the team that will manage the fund, along with Neil Denman and Ming Kemp. The vehicle will focus on the expansion of domestic emerging market economies, but invest in companies of many different sizes and in a number of sectors and countries, adds Fund Strategy.
