The state-owned Croatia osiguranje remained the biggest insurance company on the domestic market with premium revenues of HRK2.8 billion, up 3.3% y/y. The next in the list were Erste osiguranje with HRK841.4 million premium revenues (up 15.6% y/y) and Allianz with revenues of HRK751.5 million (up 35.7% y/y). Life insurance posted faster growth of 22.2% y/y to HRK1.9 billion while life insurance premiums increased by 9.1% y/y to HRK5.5 billion in 2005.
