Vista Equity Partners has entered into a binding agreement with Thomson Reuters to buy its trade and risk management business. The business currently functions as a distinct unit within the enterprise solutions business. The deal, terms of which have not been disclosed, is expected to be completed by January 31. Barclays Capital is sole financial adviser to Thomson Reuters for the transaction.
