Business Growth Fund (BGF) has hired John Burgess as non-executive director, Financial News reports. He is co-founder of BC Partners and retired from the private equity firm in 2005. Burgess has also served as Chairman of the external investment committee of investment adviser Partners Capital and an adviser to Mauritius-based private equity fund Indivision India Partners. BGF is the body formed earlier in 2011as part of the Project Merlin lending contract between the U.K. government and the country’s banks.
