Valens Semiconductor has secured $14 million in its second round of venture capital funding.

Valens Semiconductor has secured $14 million in its second round of venture capital funding. The Series B funding round’s new strategic investors included Aviv Venture Capital, Taiwan electronics firm Pegatron and Japan’s Mitsui & Company Global Investment and U.S. venture capital fund Amiti Ventures.

Existing investors Genesis Partners and Magma Venture Partners also participated in the round. The semiconductor products provider intends to use the funding to increase the development of follow-on generations of its HDBaseT chipset.
