Northern Trust has set up an office in Washington. Through the new office, Northern Trust will be able to work more closely with clients in the area and offer a full spectrum of services, including financial planning, private banking, trust and estate planning and investment management.
The new office will also serve institutional clients, such as large corporations, foundations and endowments. Joanie Stringer has been appointed as managing director of the new office and will head a staff of approximately 20. She will be responsible for boosting the firm’s integrated wealth management business in Washington and locating new business relationships.
