U.K. investment management firm M&G Investments is seeking to expand in Asia, Asian Investor reports. The firm, which was previously considering an establishment in Singapore, is now setting up an office in Hong Kong.
M&G, with £200 billion assets under management (AUM), is in the process of leasing office space, planning to hire staff in the city and transferring employees to the region. U.K. fund manager Legal & General Investment Management (L&G IM), with £320 billion in AUM, also intends to increase its foothold in Asia by establishing an office.
