Morgan Stanley Chairman To Quit

John Mack will be resigning as chairman from the board of Morgan Stanley.

John Mack will be resigning as chairman from the board of Morgan Stanley, The Wall Street Journal reports. CEO James Gorman will take over all responsibilities of the position, which was earlier on a power-sharing basis with Mack.

Mack will continue working as senior adviser for Morgan Stanley on a part-time basis. He rejoined the bank in 2005 as CEO, adds Reuters.
