Danish pension scheme ATP is seeking to unveil a multi-employer trust in the U.K. from early 2012, Financial Times reports. Now Pensions will be an independent alternative to the National Employment Savings Trust, a trust-based defined-contribution occupational pension scheme.
The advisory board of Now Pensions includes Imelda Walsh, former group HR director of Sainsbury’s, and Christopher Daykin, former government actuary. All members will become trustee directors from the beginning of next year.
