BNP Paribas Names U.K. Fixed Income Head

BNP Paribas Corporate & Investment Banking has appointed Martin Egan as U.K. head of fixed income.

BNP Paribas Corporate & Investment Banking has appointed Martin Egan as U.K. head of fixed income, The Wall Street Journal reports. In his new role, he will work under Chairman of BNP Paribas in the U.K. Ludovic de Montille and global head of fixed income Frederic Janbon.

Egan, who is currently global head of primary markets and origination, will additionally take on the new role. The appointment is part of the French bank’s strategy to enhance its U.K. issuer and investor client franchise.
