Vietnam Gets $330M Loan For Hydro Plant

The State Bank of Vietnam has secured a credit facility worth $330 million.

The State Bank of Vietnam has secured a credit facility worth $330 million, The Wall Street Journal reports. World Bank provided the loan.

The funds will be used to finance a hydropower plant project in Vietnam. The Trung Son power plant will be built in the northern province of Thanh Hoa from 2011 to 2017.
