The Lone Star College System (LSCS) has secured a $500,000 donation from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Community Impact Newspaper reports. The grant will be used to fund the Completion by Design project.
The project is intended to help students finish their college education at faster and more successful rates. LSCS was one of four colleges in the U.S. to receive the Completion by Design grant.
