Symphony Pays $165M For Shopzilla

Symphony Technology Group has acquired online retailer Shopzilla from Scripps Networks Interactive.

Symphony Technology Group has acquired online retailer Shopzilla from Scripps Networks Interactive. The private equity firm paid a total of $165 million for the acquisition.

As a part of the deal, the buyer paid $150 million in cash and $15 million in deferred payments. Wells Fargo Capital Finance and Tennenbaum Capital Partners have provided debt financing for the transaction.
