BoE Adds Ex-Deutsche Banker To Board

Bank of England has elected Michael Cohrs as a non-executive director for its board.

Bank of England (BoE) has elected Michael Cohrs as a non-executive director for its board, Financial News reports. In his new position, Cohrs will manage the bank’s affairs, excluding the formation of monetary policy.

He will supersede António Horta-Osório to complete the remainder of his term, ending May 31, 2012. Cohrs is a member of Deutsche Bank’s advisory board, and an external member of the BoE’s interim Financial Policy Committee. He has previously worked as head of global banking at Deutsche.
