Golden gate Capital is seeking buying U.S. restaurant chain, California Pizza Kitchen for $470 million.

Golden gate Capital is seeking buying U.S. restaurant chain, California Pizza Kitchen for $470 million, The Wall Street Journal reports. Under the terms of the transaction, the U.S. private equity firm will pay $18.50 a share via an offer that will begin no later than June 8, 2011.


California Pizza Kitchen was advised by Moelis & Company, while its board’s special committee was counseled by Richards, Layton & Finger. Golden Gate was advised by the law firm, Kirkland & Ellis, adds The New York Times.
