ADIA Consortium To Buy Pipeline Stake

A consortium of financial investors is seeking to acquire a stake in a Norwegian gas pipeline network, Gassled, from Statoil.

A consortium of financial investors is seeking to acquire a stake in a Norwegian gas pipeline network, Gassled, from Statoil, Reuters reports. The consortium comprises of Abu Dhabi Investment Authority, Canada Pension Plan Investment Board and German insurer, Allianz. The investors may purchase about a 20% stake in the gas pipeline, which is valued at about $3 billion. Statoil is seeking to cut its 28.5% stake in Gassled.
