CIBC World Markets has made an appointment in its currency and foreign exchange desk, Globe and Mail reports. Nick Mirtchev has been named a director and foreign currency strategist, based in London.
Prior to CIBC, he served at 3D Currency Management in London. Mirtchev has also worked in the banking sector, including as an economist at HBOS, and in government.
