LaSalle Gets Nod To Start German Fund

LaSalle Investment Management has received approval from the German Federal Financial Supervisory Authority, BaFin, to launch a capital investment vehicle.

LaSalle Investment Management has received approval from the German Federal Financial Supervisory Authority, BaFin, to launch a capital investment vehicle, Property Week reports. The new vehicle, 100% owned by LaSalle, is named Kapitalanlagegesellschaft für Immobilien-Spezialfonds.

The Munich-based vehicle for specialist investment funds will seek to attract investment from German, Austrian and Swiss institutional investors. The already existing LaSalle Vermögensverwaltungs will now operate as LaSalle Investment Management Kapitalanlagegesellschaft.
