Towers Watson has appointed Chris DeMeo as head of investment for North America. Based in New York, DeMeo will be in charge of the investment advisory business in the U.S. and Canada. He will work under Carl Hess, Towers Watson’s global head of investment. Before joining Towers Watson in 2008, DeMeo served as director of investment strategy for Russell Investments. He has also worked at Merrill Lynch, Bank of America, and Towers Perrin, now Towers Watson as a result of a January 2010 merger.
