Marcello Milman, Vanessa Quiroga & team Credit Suisse
In second place for a fourth straight year is the Credit Suisse quartet conducted by new co-leader Marcello Milman, who is based in São Paulo, and Mexico City–based Vanessa Quiroga. (Milman replaces Marcelo Telles, who now covers Banking & Financial Services for the firm.)
According to one investor, no team does a better job of “keeping us up-to-date with good reports.” The analysts elevated Multiplan Empreendimentos Imobiliários to top pick among Brazilian property stocks in April, at R28.60, on valuation. In late May, after the share price had soared 18 percent, the team declared the stock fully valued at R33.75. Since then it had slipped 2.5 percent, to R32.89, through July.
