Gerdau
Headquartered in Porto Alegre, Gerdau is a Brazilian steelmaker, the largest producer of long steel in the Americas and the largest recycler of steel scrap in Latin America. The company’s 45,000 employees stationed across 14 countries are capable of producing 25 million metric tons of steel per year. Its products, which include flat steel and iron ore, primarily serve the agriculture, automotive, civil construction and industrial sectors. Gerdau was founded in 1901.
