Japanese financial company Nomura Holdings has hired Nigel Khakoo as global head of Group of 10 (G-10) foreign-exchange options, FX Week reports. Based in London, he will be reporting to Steve Ashley, global head of macro products.

Khakoo substitutes Bernd Broeker, who left the bank early this year to join Italian lender UniCredit as a consultant for its FX operations in London. He joins Nomura from U.S. lender Citi, subsequent to Citi merging its G-10 and emerging-markets options business into a single unit.
