Julius Baer Group has appointed Edmond Carton as head of Middle East and Eastern Mediterranean, Financial News reports. Carton will be based in the Swiss private bank’s Geneva office and work under Rémy Bersier, CEO for Eastern Mediterranean, Middle East, Africa and European Francophone markets.

Previously, Carton was serving at Credit Suisse as head of the ultra high net worth individual segment for the Middle East, India and Turkey. He has also worked at HSBC Private Bank and JP Morgan.
