The 2016 All-Brazil Research Team Welcomes 18 Newcomers

Nine firms have analysts appearing on the team for the first time.


Eighteen newcomers are included among the 79 analysts who appear on the 2016 All-Brazil Research Team, Institutional Investor’s exclusive annual ranking of the nation’s best analysts, including three who are dually ranked. Rogério Araújo of UBS debuts at No. 3 in Transportation and runner-up in Capital Goods. His colleague Andreas Bokkenheuser earns runner-up spots in both Metals & Mining and Pulp & Paper, and BTG Pactual’s Rodrigo Gastim achieves the same feat in Education and Health Care

The 2016 All-Brazil Research Team is based on responses from 714 buy-side analysts and portfolio managers at 375 institutions that oversee an estimated $252 billion in Brazilian equities and $136 billion in Brazilian debt.
