U.S. Investor Relations Officers are earning almost double the compensation of their European counterparts as disclosed in the 2019 All-America Executive Team survey. However, as adjustments continue to be made on the buy and sell sides in the wake of MiFID II, Investor Relations programs are seeing their relationships with investors shift suggesting that the future could hold shifts for their budgeting, possibly including IRO compensation.
