Hays provides specialist recruitment services for temporary and permanent placements in public and private sectors (primarily private). Industries range from accounting and finance to information technology, education and construction. It employs more than 8,200 people in some 33 countries. Beginning in 2003, Hays sold its noncore businesses, including commercial and logistics operations and mail service, to become a pure-play specialist recruitment business.
