Boston Retirement Gets New Exec Director

Interim executive director Daniel Greene has been promoted as executive director of the Boston Retirement Board which oversees the $4.3 billion State-Boston Retirement System.

Interim executive director Daniel Greene has been promoted as executive director of the Boston Retirement Board which oversees the $4.3 billion State-Boston Retirement System (SBRS), Pensions & Investments reports. Greene will additionally continue as investment officer of the Boston fund.

He replaces Kathleen Kiely-Becchetti, who quit the pension fund to join the $450 million Norfolk County Retirement System, Canton, as executive director in March. It is not known whether the pension plan intends to appoint anyone to the deputy director post Greene held before becoming executive director.
