New Jersey–based financial services company Ameriprise Financial has appointed Craig Russ and Robert Furciato from Bank of America Corp.‘s brokerage division, Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Reuters reports. The duo has joined Ameriprise after serving as advisers at the brokerage divisions of big banks.
Formerly, Furciato was with international financial conglomerate Citigroup, national investment boutique Oppenheimer & Co. and CIBC World Markets, banking arm of Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce. Russ was previously associated with Royal Bank of Canada’s wealth management subsidy RBC Dain Rauscher. The two advisers together handle $83 million in client assets and last year generated $900,000 in revenue collectively.
