Malaysia’s Kwap Plans U.K. Investments

Malaysian retirement fund Kumpulan Wang Persaraan (Diperbadankan) is looking to invest in the U.K. market.

Malaysian retirement fund Kumpulan Wang Persaraan (Diperbadankan) (Kwap) is looking to invest in the U.K. market, IPE reports. The fund is examining its strategic asset allocation and evaluating the viability of commitments in that market.

Kwap has €18 billion in assets under management, 90 percent of which are domestic assets. It has investments in real estate and private equity funds in London, Australia, Indonesia, Thailand and India. The fund may further diversify to cover the European market.
