Greg Mackay has joined Edinburgh-based investment management services provider Kames Capital’s fixed-income team, Financial Times reports. He will be responsible for derivatives in the government bonds team, adds FundWeb.
Mackay will be reporting to Stephen Jones, joint head of fixed income at Kames, previously known as Aegon Asset Management UK. Most recently, Mackay headed the fixed-income and derivatives team at the Nationwide Building Society. Kames was among the top 10 U.K. asset management groups for net fund sales in Fundscape’s 2011 third quarter Pridham report.
