Goldman Sachs LA Head Retiring

Kevin Kennedy, Goldman Sachs Group’s management committee member and head of its Latin America group, is stepping down.

Kevin Kennedy, Goldman Sachs Group’s management committee member and head of its Latin America group, is stepping down, Bloomberg reports. Kennedy, who joined the New York–based global investment banking and securities firm’s corporate finance department in 1974, will retire by the year-end.

Stephen Scherr will succeed Kennedy as head of Latin America and Andrew Chisholm as co-chair of the commitments committee. The duo will continue handling their current respective responsibilities as global head of the financing group in the investment banking division and global co-head of the financial institutions group.
