Julian Ide has joined Old Mutual Asset Management (Omam) as head of global distribution. He will also serve as CEO of Old Mutual Asset Managers (U.K.). Ide will replace Peter Baxter and will be reporting to Peter Bain, CEO of Omam.
He will lead Omam’s global distribution efforts in Europe, Asia and the Middle East to assist the development of its affiliate managers and also manage Omam U.K.’s investment teams, product offerings and retail and institutional distribution efforts. Previously, he was head of institutional business at BBVA Asset Management.
