Prudential Retirement Revamps Business Units

Prudential Retirement, a unit of asset management firm Prudential Financial, has been restructured for quicker response to business developments.

Prudential Retirement, a unit of asset management firm Prudential Financial, has been restructured for quicker response to business developments, Pensions & Investments reports. In line with the reorganization the system’s strategic relationship business headed by senior vice president Harry Dalessio will report to president Christine Marcks.

The reorganization also involves establishing three business units supervised by the strategic relationship business and reporting directly to the president. The units include pension and structured solutions, total retirement solutions and institutional investment solutions, headed by Phil Waldeck, George Castineiras, and Jamie Kalamarides, respectively, who serve as vice presidents of their respective units. The total retirement solutions and institutional investment solutions units will see internal restructuring.
