Manager of $583 billion assets Prudential Investment Management has appointed David Hunt as CEO.

Manager of $583 billion assets Prudential Investment Management has appointed David Hunt as CEO. He will assume charge on November 9, replacing Charles Lowrey who had been promoted as COO of Prudential’s U.S. businesses in February and was continuing in the CEO role for the interim period.

Hunt joins from McKinsey & Co., where he was a senior partner and co-leader of North American Asset Management practice. He will be responsible for handling all of Prudential Investment Management’s asset management businesses.
