European ETPs Saw €1B Outflows In Aug

The assets of European exchange-traded products market dropped €1billion in August.

The assets of European exchange-traded products (ETPs) market dropped €1billion in August, IFA Online reports. According to Deutsche Bank, exchange-traded funds (ETFs) witnessed outflows of €1.1 billion while exchange-traded commodities (ETCs) attracted €100 million.

Total European ETP assets dropped 5.9 percent to end the month at €233.1 billion. This was largely driven by falling asset prices. The inflows for the month stood at €795 million for gold, €542 million for sovereign bonds and €308 million for money market products.
