CareCloud, a Miami-based company that provides cloud-based practice management tools for healthcare providers, has secured $20.1 million in venture capital financing. Silicon Valley–based Intel Capital and Norwest Venture Partners led the fundraising process. With the new financing, the company will focus on producing more technology to serve the needs of healthcare providers, adds Venture Beat. The recent investment round included about $3.8 million conversion of debt to equity.
