Perella Weinberg Partners has opened an office in Beijing. The new office will be headed by managing director Naichen Shi, who will work alongside head of corporate advisory Peter Weinberg and head of asset management Terry Meguid. The new venture will boost the firm’s strategic advisory business and asset management opportunities across Asia. The office is the firm’s seventh worldwide, the last one being the Abu Dhabi office in September 2010.
