ONGC Share Sale Delayed

The share sale worth nearly $2.5 billion of India’s state-run explorer Oil and Natural Gas Corp. has been postponed.

The share sale worth nearly $2.5 billion of India’s state-run explorer Oil and Natural Gas Corp. (ONGC) has been postponed, Reuters reports. The sale, scheduled to launch on September 20, has been delayed because of bad market conditions.

The sale, which was first scheduled in March, has been deferred many times this year. The Indian government sought to sell a 5 percent in ONGC.
